Septic Tanks & Accessories
Septic Tanks are usually specified on your home's plans and must be approved by the Cayman Island Department of Planning. The size of your septic tank is based on potential occuppants of your home or building.

Holding Tanks
Holding tanks are used in replacement when a Septic Tank can not be used. Like with Septic Tanks the required dimensions will be on your building plans and must be approved by the Cayman Islands Department of Planning.

- 1000 Gallon - suitable for a 2-3 bedroom home $1,500.00
- 1500 Gallon - suitable for a 3-4 bedroom home $2,100.00

- 2500 Gallon - usage will be specified by the Water Authority Cayman $3,750.00

Grease Interceptors
Grease Interceptors are used to filter waste water containing fat, oils and grease from restaurants or other cooking facilities. Grease interceptors or grease traps are a requirement whenever buildings will have a restaurant, cafeteria or will be disposing of large amounts for fats, oils or grease to avoid these getting into the main sewage systems and causing dangerous blockages.

CUC Utility Vaults

Catch Basins
Catch Basins are used to collect storm water and avoid the water from collecting on the property around your home or building where there are no City sewer systems for drainage.

Meter Pedestals
Meter pedestals are available for purchase from CI Precast for installations requiring a meter pole or meter pedestal. These wired meter poles are complete with meter socket, mast, and 200-amp main breaker (or fuses for 600 volt rated disconnect poles). The breaker box includes unused breaker positions suitable for connecting outdoor electrical equipment such as heat pumps and water pumps.
